Who knew I would like history so much? And Charleston is FULL of it!

Happy one year, to the one I love!

Scott was silly and kept me laughing, as usual.

We took a lovely carriage ride our first afternoon in town.

Our tours of the old rice plantations were extremely interesting.

We explored The Battery and enjoyed the river views.

Our ghost tour didn't prove to be scary, but when am I ever scared by ghosts?

Our bikes were the perfect addition to our trip -- they made for a lot less walking and a lot more fun!

The gardens and alleys of the city are so gorgeous, by far, my favorite part.

Aside from all of our touring and bike riding, I did sneak in some relaxing.

So, SO peaceful!
I highly suggest you give Charleston a visit if you haven't before! Where should we visit next? I'm up for suggestions!

I'm glad you guys had a great time! I love Charleston! Your next trip... if you're going big, I suggest San Francisco. If you're looking for something a little more simple, check out Savannah or some other areas of the Carolinas.
