Lucky 13 ..

Day 13: A picture of your favorite band or artist:

Surprise, surprise, I've got more than one!

Lady A -- saw them in September with Ma and Kris.

Keith -- seeing him in May with Megan and Emily!

Lifehouse -- have never seen them, but would love to!

The list goes on, but those are just a couple on the top of my list.

And in honor of day 13, I will tell you why 13 is my lucky number. It was my grandfather's (my mom's dad's) lucky number. He was very superstitious about the number. When he died, he had $13 in his wallet. The number has come up in my life in many different ways. For example, I was in the 13th class to graduate from Mandarin High. Frequently, I will be having a bad day and suddenly notice a 13 in a random place: on the side of a truck passing by, on a sign, that there are 13 meds left in the Pixis on my narcotic count. It never fails that he gives me a little reminder that he is one of my angels in heaven. Every time I get gas, you guessed it .. I use pump 13. Those habits will never change, for as long as I live. It is my little daily reminder of my grandfather whom I got way too little time with.
