Scottie and I? We LOVE to be outside. It is unfortunate that we work in a unit at the hospital with no windows. If we can be outside, 99.9% of the time .. we are.
One of the first places we ever went together was the Okefenokee Swamp. The extreme QUIETNESS is so appealing, so peaceful. We packed our lunches, rented a jon boat and headed out into the swamp in Fargo, Georgia.
Yesterday, we decided to have a repeat of the day, like we've been wanting to do for quite some time. We couldn't have picked a better day. Unfortunately, the water level is VERY low, so our exploring was limited. As usual, we had fun anyway, enjoying the weather, the nature and the sunshine.
He was smiling at us, as if to say, "I am definitely NOT afraid of you like you are of me .."
Out in the middle of nowhere, without a soul to be seen.
He's always my driver. In canoes, too. Steering and paddling is no fun ..
This little guy swam in front of the boat for a little bit.
