So, today, it has come to my attention that people didn't realize the picture I posted yesterday was not my actual piercing, but the needle that they used.
Therefore, new forward helix piercing, I dedicate this post to you. I realize now that in the photo, the needle does resemble that of an industrial piercing. No friends, you're right, that piercing would not be "me".
Let's replay the events of yesterday afternoon.
Here, I brace myself for the needle.
It didn't hurt. Honest. That was my "oh my gosh this is gonna hurt" face.
Needle. Through my forward helix. Only.
I didn't even realize I had my eyes closed while he was taking the needle out and putting the barbell in. Apparently if you close your eyes, it doesn't hurt. But really, it didn't hurt.

And this, my friends, is the finished product.
Sans the purple "stick needle here" dot, it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Once again, our friends at Inksmith & Rogers listened and did a fine job.
And that is the story of my Monday afternoon.
