You know what I've noticed? People in Florida don't know how to dress when it is cold. They barely put more than a sweater on (and usually keep their flops on) and then complain that they're freezing. Put on some appropriate 30 degree weather attire and then we'll talk. And for those of you who don't live in Florida: It gets cold here. It really, really does! Promise!
Our day consisted of a disappointing trip out to Keystone Heights. My plan was to visit a vintage-y type/antique store I discovered via Craigslist some months ago. Major. Disappointment. Pure proof that pictures can be deceiving. I never regret a good, long drive, though. Especially when the sun is shining and I'm jamming out to a CD I made "back in the day". I sing very, very loudly, like I have a voice similar to Adele's. Sometimes, the fact that I can't hear myself over the sound of the music helps with this illusion. (Poor Scott!) Some of my best memories include singing in my car, the good ol' Firebird, to be exact -- at the top of my lungs, with my best friends. Perfect memories -- you can't beat 'em.
Is it bad that it is only day three and I'm already realizing (although I already knew this) that this 365 day photo thing is trickier than it sounds?!
Thankfully, I'm still behind on posting pictures from the end of the year.
The other day we took a walk back into Beau's favorite place on Earth -- the preserve next to our house. Well, that might be a favorite, second to my parent's house.
Beau is incapable of walking properly on a leash prior to the time he is let off to roam. It is like everything I've ever taught him about not pulling on a leash has flown out the window. Scott got tired of him pulling, so he just picked him up and walked. Quite hilarious. Mostly, the look on Scott's face!
Is this real?
Beau's paradise. Good thing Knox likes me so much because freedom is not an option for that pup!
Tired pups, my favorite kind of pup!
