Goodbye 2011, hello 2012.
Really? 2012? It feels like yesterday was 2002 -- we moved into our new house and I started my senior year in high school.
Today, I have owned my own home for three years and I will hit my fourth year of working as a nurse in the NICU -- where I have dreamed of working for about 20 years now -- since 1992, as a first grader.
I may "only" be 27 now (because when do I not get reminded of how young I am?), but I CAN tell you that I never dreamed of the day I would be able to say "20 years ago".
Putting all of that aside, I will focus the way I always try to -- in the present.
But, don't get too comfortable with that thought. I do have to catch you up on the ending of 2011.
Beau helped me prep for Christmas.
We enjoyed our Christmas off together.
As happy as he looks, he was not happy about this moment!
My favorite part of Christmas.
Whether he liked it or not, we were getting a picture together.
Beau, the supervisor.
Ma and Did's present.
For me! :)
To: Beau and Knox.
Yay for a shovel! Ha. We get excited about the "simple" things. It will help a great deal with planting for spring this year!
Did's creative wrapping skills.
B and Scottie putting together the new fire pit.
Knox doesn't take his eyes off of Did in the kitchen. Ever.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas and had a Happy New Years Eve!
Our New Years Eve was busy at work, but we helped bring a few new lives into the last little bit of 2011.
I'm starting something new this year .. hold onto your seats: 365 days of photos! Think I can do it? We'll see!
Happy New Year to all of you!
