Garage stealing ..

Recently, a lot of my motivation to be creative has come from my best friend, Kristina.

She has raided her dad's garage .. which contains some items of hers from the past, as well as some of her grandmother's things.

I suddenly got a great idea using a forgotten item in my parent's garage.

This window was made by a family friend and painted green. It was repainted by my brother and used in his apartment in college. It has hung in my parent's garage for a few years since then.

I painted it, turned it sideways and hung it from a nifty key from some ribbon in my all time favorite print: damask.




Nothing has come even close to catching my eye as far as artwork goes to go over our bed. This is much more fun.

Now, if only we could get our furniture and have a finished room!
