Keith Urban on Friday night was an absolute blast. The memories his songs bring to my heart will last a lifetime. I was thankful to have Megan by my side, as she is a part of a lot of those memories.
The summer weddings are over. We celebrated this past weekend with Alicia and Shane. Scottie was Shane's best man.

Next weekend, the baby showers begin. There will be quite a few of those the latter half of this year. I look forward to them! We all know I love the babes.Speaking of babes, I sent my primary home today. For the better part of the last five months, I have cared for him while at work. I'll definitely never forget the little guy. He helped me grow as a nurse (not that you EVER stop learning) and lead me to have a stronger belief that I can handle being a foster care parent one day. It is a dream of mine.
For Father's Day, B and I cooked up some peppers, chicken and Spanish rice. We gathered tortillas, green chilies, salsa, guacamole, cheese and black beans. Together, this made for one heck of a tasty taco. I threw together Ma's famous pasta salad and we packed it all up (along with a few brewskis) and headed out to the beach. Oh, and don't forget a couple of chocolate chip cookies for a sweet treat. The weather was perfect. Truly, we couldn't have asked for better. We ate, relaxed and enjoyed each other. It doesn't get much better than that.
