Here we are, several more hours of work sawing, gluing, brad nailing and sanding. Lots and lots of sanding. We still have MORE sanding to do, but for now .. we're already quite pleased with our project! After sanding, we have priming and painting. Lots of painting. All of this work is going to be well worth it. It is already as perfect as I had imagined.

Remember this mirror? While Scott was painting, I was transforming the mirror into a chalkboard and painting the frame. It's finished, but I wanted to give it another night to cure before I put it all back together. The date printed on the back of the mirror? 1940. I felt a TOUCH guilty as I started painting the wood. It truly looks fantastic now, though!
The Craigslist dresser has now been transformed:
We are thrilled with the way it turned out. It was A LOT of work, but we really stuck with it and got it done in two days. We couldn't be more pleased with the result!
The nightstands are also done, but they'll most likely be included in the finished product post of our headboard.
Our projects wear our pups out. We're a'okay with that! Supervising is hard work!
Jenny, I attempted to photograph Tank and Tiny. Tiny was going so ballistic for his dinner that he wouldn't hold still long enough .. we'll have to attempt that at another time. Tank, she hid behind a rock. Typical, shy Tank. Her and Beau are a lot alike. Ha! Can you believe they are seven years old?! Craziness. Too bad dogs don't live as long as turtles do!
