The final piece of the master ..

Scott and I got my door this past week. It is a solid Cypress door with many layers of paint and stain on it -- that is going to be the "fun" part! Lots of sanding! This is our "before" picture.


My dad and Scott worked all day cutting wood for the frame to hold the door.
Yay! The door has posts.
More gluing and the addition of some accent pieces was done, now, the door dries. In a couple of days we will finish the accent pieces and start sanding. Lots of sanding. And then painting. Lots of painting.

I'm SO excited!

The dresser and nightstands are painted. They look fanTAStic. The mirror is prepped for painting, so I'll get to that at some time later this week. Scott now wants to get another chest of drawers to redo. Craigslist .. here I come!
