Howdy! Let's not talk about my absence from blogging. I WILL try to be better at it. Promise.
Since we are finished with our furniture projects for the bedroom, I thought I'd share.
Public service announcement (as always): Click on the photos to make them larger if need be!
Our craigslist dresser before.
And, after.
Our antique door, as it looked when we bought it off of the salvage yard. Not sure what that little spot of light is in the middle on the bottom. Maybe a ghost? I like teasing Scott. :)
And, our headboard made from the door. It's PERFECT!
This mirror was part of the craigslist dresser. We didn't necessary want/need it, but it came with it all as a package deal. So, I painted it up and hung it on the wall. It serves as my full length mirror.
Again, wasn't necessarily looking for a nightstand, but it came with the dresser.
I painted it and replaced the hardware. I also painted my previous nightstand, which Scott now uses. And a previous project, the mirrored window above the bed, was repainted gray.
The finished product.
Thanks to Edith, I scored this mirror from craigslist.
Edith, here is the finished product in my hallway -- my framed chalkboard. Thanks for the find!
My next project is figuring out what I want to do with this window. No Pinterest window projects have blown me away, yet.
Any ideas? That's a wrap for what I've been up to lately! My sewing machine has been getting some use lately. I'll be certain to share those finished products, as well!
Happy Saturday! Stay warm!
